Does anyone else count birds that they call up and someone else shoots as a kill?  I personally always have because I could have shot it just as easily.  I am just wondering what others think.

MDbowman

No cuz then I would have to count all their misses too!!!

If it doesn't go against my bag limit I didn't kill it.
If I'm not back in five minutes, wait longer!

I don't count it as a kill, but I do take the same amount of pride in it. If my decisions and work are what result in the kill, then I was successful in my mind.

Hook hanger

Dont count in my book thats another mans kill not mine.

tomstopper

I don't but I also don't keep track of my own kills either....

JALA Strut

No ... but I do enjoy calling them in!

I agree with everyone else.  If i didn't shoot it, I'm not counting it as my kill.  Plus, who's to say that I wouldn't have missed him?

Green Trumpeter

I don't count it as a kill but I do feel the caller and the person who planned the setup have done the majority of the work.  Theres more to being a good hunter in my opinion then having killed a large number of turkeys.

I take pride in fooling another wary longbeard, but no I do not count the kill.
