Well this morning was unbelievable. Went to a place for the first time this year. Went down the side of the ridge and heard a gobble about 6:20. Got as close as I dared to and sat down. Soon birds are gobbling all over the ridge to my from and my right. I could see a few strutting in the sky line and could here spitting and drumming. A few hens start tree yelping and some birds pitch down at 6:50 and immediately go into strut. All in all I saw 8 toms strutting and hens flying to them. The birds to my right are going crazy and the group on the ground comes right towards me. Shot the big strutter at 7:25. 23.75 pounds 11 inch beard and 1" spurs
