Yes it is and yes they are rare. The most rare is the Black phase, then the red phase and then smoke phase. Congrats on a great gobbler.

FYI...the photo I posted in NOT mine or anyone I know. It was on Nitro Ammunitions web site years ago in the successful hunters photos. It's called it a buff phase.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
