First bird of the year down. He gobbled his head off on the roost. Did a few soft tree yelps and thats all it took. He flew down and strutted all the way into the decoys. Killed him at 24 steps. 8" beard, 1" (r) and 7/8" (l) spurs.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
