You won't find a decoy more durable and realistic than the dsd

X2. I'm very rough with mine. I have noticed some minor paint chips but nothing major.

Decided on DSD's. Breeding pair or jake and upright hen?

I'd go with the upright hen because you can lay her on the ground in a breeding position, but if you need her to be more visible you'll still have the option of putting her on the stake.

Dsd jake and feeding hen

Lucky Clucker

I got a delta jake and it has been in on several kills and it cost me $10. DSD look great but if they come to a Funky chicken anything with a red and blue head will work.lol
Hunt every day as if it were your last.

Which one is easier to haul around in the back of your vest, the dsd or the avian?

kenfa03

Really like the looks of DSD leading hen.

Like the Feather-Flex Jake they use to sell. Came with their new "fracked" process, which is very life like. Like it because it's very light weight and folds easy to store in my decoy bag. Got that as well as their hen.

How durable are the DSD's? I keep decoys in back of hunting truck and they get treated fairly rough.

I have mine in the back of trucks, in the bottom of boats, on my back for long pack ins, beaten on by jakes and toms alike and it still looks great :icon_thumright:
