Benelli M2 12ga 24" & Rhino "extrema" choke?

I recently purchased a used 12ga Benelli M2 (24" barrel) that came with 5 factory chokes as well as a Rhino "Extrema" 0.66 turkey choke.

1st question: Can the "Extrema" rhino choke be used in the M2 safely/effectively?

2nd question: If so what load would you recommend with this combo? If not, who needs one? :blob10:

3rd quest: What other choke/load combo would you recommend?

FWIW, I contacted Rhino via their website & haven't gotten any response. I called them directly & spoke to someone who didn't sound too sure of themselves when trying to answer the question. ;)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
This is my first post btw. Love the website so far. After doing some searching on here it looks rhino has terrible CS!

I had an extrema and a sbe 2 that took crio chokes and the rhino extrema choke worked for both guns. So if the M2 takes crio chokes you will be fine.

Beretta extremas and benelli m2/sbe2 both use the crio chokes.

They use the same Crio Plus chokes, but the choke measurement dictates what the choke effect will be.

.660 is good for the M2, and I have had good luck with the 3" Magnum Blend...

Thanks for the info guys!

I got some 3" Fed HW #7 & 3" Hevi Mag Bld #5,6,7 & tried them out this afternoon at 20, 30 & 40 yds.

The Magnum Blend won hands down. However both shot high so I'm seriously thinking about trying the Burris Speedbead so my POA can match my POI.
