Chippewas- and they are covered for life. Literally the only pair you ever need to buy...but not goretex. Then again, I have no need for goretex.

I have to say I live how people come to Florida to hunt and everyone needs snake boots. I grew up in these swamps. I've had snake boots. Now I just wear a pair of keen water shoes. Although I would highly recommend lacrosse snake water proof boots.

I own Chippewa lace-ups & Irish Setter zip-ups; not sure they make either model anymore, but both are very comfortable, with the edge probably going to the Irish Setters; the bottoms on the Irish Setters are "running shoe"-ish & I probably wear them 95% of the time.  I agree with the earlier comment about the Chippewa's being "for life"; I've had mine 15 years, and they're still going strong (altho they're not waterproof any longer).
