Love my Hootin stick, works very well......

M Sharpe

Is there 2 different styles? The pics posted indicate that there may be. Mine is like the one skeeterbait posted. Looks like the mouthpiece is a little larger than RebelYell's and Catdaddy's. With a little different shape.
I'm not a Christian because I'm strong and have it all together. I'm a Christian because I'm weak and admit I need a Saviour!

M Sharpe hey how are ya ? On your question about different styles I hand turn each call I make I make the mouth pcs to match the wood I'm using . Some are smaller or larger I follow the wood and do what flows and looks the best with each call. All the insides are the same on every call. I do the rest by hand so there no to calls the same .there all a little different but there all owl . Glad you like the call thank you .

James make a good one for sure.

Got one just like that, and it's an excellent owl hooter.  Easy to run and loud!
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
Over time...they come to learn how little air a good yelper actually requires. ChesterCopperpot

Just ordered a Harrison Synthetic Hoot'n Stick.  Look forward to practicing with hit before season once it arrives. I love an owl hooter!

I've got one, but can't make it sound like an owl to save my life!

It takes a lot less air than other tube style hooters.  If you overblow, it does not sound like an owl.
