26 days this fall/winter nothing...

I bought my fall turkey lisense thinking I'd see lots of turkey &  I also got my bow lisense for deer. I usually hunt a few days for deer, but having that turkey lisense in hand really had me ampted up to sit in my blind. I hunted 26 days, 7-8 of them sun up to sun down. Well, I saw lots of deer, but didn't see one turkey. On day 28, I saw Turkey! 5 days past the end of the season! Figures! Didn't even have my bow in hand, so it didn't matter, but still! Come on spring...

Spring can't come soon enough!  Lord this is going to be a long winter!  The only thing that is keeping me from loosing my mind is being able to grouse hunt with my setters...which will end at the end of February.
