bearded hen?

I put my cameras out a few weeks ago and I had several pictures of this turkey. It appears to be a bearded hen just from looking at the size and its head, but I wanted to see what everyone else thought...

From the pic you have I would say your correct. All the pics I have of gobblers here in La, have the red heads, associated with spring. Plus body features look like a hen...........

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. In all of the other pics, she is with the hens which is making me think its a hen. Pretty nice beard on her if it is.

Last year I had a bearded hen that came by me two different times.   I got to watch her for a long time and she appeared to try and strut, or she was severely constipated, she would lower her wings and bob her tail. Was really neat to watch her.  will be looking for her again this year.
