MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND PICS

I thought you fellers would like to see these pics from Memorial Day weekend fishing the flooded backwaters of the Mississippi River.  I had intended on fishing with cut shad but could not find any. I was also out of a component (glycerin) in the catfish bait scent concoction I make—Fresh Cooter.  So—I used cut up beef stew meat I bought at the grocery store and substituted extra virgin olive oil for the glycerin—turns out—it worked pretty good.  I caught the alligator turtle crossing the road—he was some kind of p/o'd and wanted to bite me—bad.

Those are some nice catfish. That snapper is big enough to take off some fingers.
