Best of 2013 (very pic heavy)

It was a very strange year for us. We had lots of birds found early with the promise of really getting after them but by the time it started they all seemed to be uncooperative with the exception of Dad's opening day bird, he gobbled at anything and everything. We hunted hard this year and took advantage of the opportunities we were given for the most part. I feel blessed to have gotten to spend another season with great friends and even better family. I'll be honest a lot of the stories of this year's hunts are not riveting tales but more a testament to taking risks, catching breaks, and stalking like nobody's business. Not my preference of hunt style but when chasing these birds you take what they give you to put heads on the ground.
