One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

That's awesome. I've been skunked all month. However, and nice guy from Castleton brought his granddaughter to Florence, sat in my spot and smoked a nice Tom on youth weekend  :( Got to love youth weekend. Where do you guys hunt? 3 birds on one area is amazing in VT.

West Augusta

Vermont is a beautiful state.  I would love to be able to hunt there.
Congrats to you and your son.  Hope this one hooks him on turkey hunting for life.
No trees were hurt in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were highly inconvenienced.

Turkey Trot

I'm surprised that the enviro whackadoodles in Vermont still allow turkey hunting.

I'm not from Vermont, but they're very libertarian there.  It is one of only two state I believe where you do not need any type of a permit to carry a concealed handgun.
I love golf.  It keeps a lot of people out of the turkey woods.
