Pretty exited about this bird. Don't think I could be any luckier. Last year was my first year hunting turkey and killed a nice Tom with a bow. Now this 7" bearded hen. She might have to go next to last years bird!!

both are beautiful birds. if it were me she would already be at the taxidermist. ive been hunting alota years and have killed my share of birds both spring and fall and have only seen one bearded hen and she was crossing the road one July.

Awesome, I passed one up 3 years ago so i wouldnt spook a tom, I wish i would have shot her would have made a sweat mount, congratulations

Nice bird. I passed up a bearded hen a few yrs back at 7 yds.

Just me but I'd rather not take a hen in NY in may. Most are already on eggs.
