Got a good'un! UPDATED...story & more pics

Had one day to hunt this week and it ended well!



Sorry for the just a pic and no details (I'll post more later) but I've been really busy getting ready as our NWTF chapter will host our 8th Annual Wheelin' Sportsmen Hunt tomorrow.

Here's the story...sorry for the wait.
Went to one of my favorite farms and got setup well before light. Gobbling was sparse to say the least, heard maybe 5-6 gobbles (yes gobbles not gobblers) between 6:30 – 7:00 and then nothing afterwards. I knew this spot held turkeys so we decided to stick it out and call every now and then. Finally 3 hens entered the field and a few minutes later this gobbler entered about 100 yards above them and about 200 yards from our setup. He went into strut and 23 minutes after first seeing him he waded it to the decoys. It was 10:22 when I shot, over 3 hours after last hearing him gobble.
Turned out to be one of my best ever...21 ¾ lb, 11 inch beard, 1 3/8" spurs.

He was a "hanger"
