mid morning hunting question

just found out that i have to work third shift next week installing conveyors in a factory which im ok with because our season opens monday and ill be able to hunt all day the other days i get off around 730 never started hunting at this time always been in at daylight anyone have any tips on what i should be doing as far as what will the birds be doing

In the midmorning hours a lot of gobblers will suddenly find themselves lonely because the hens go off to work with their nesting. I would try to find a gobbling bird and if he responds to your calls, you should have a pretty good chance of getting him. This is also the time of day when they will be in their strut zones. If you don't hear anything, set up in a likely strut zone and see what comes of it. Good luck!
