Took my first turkey ever on Wednesday!!!  In Kansas on private ground.  We didn't weigh the birds, but mine had an 8.5 inch beard.  The pic shows 2, but mine is on the right.  Other than being in the high 30's low 40's and raining....not a bad outing.
