It looks like a sow, probably 165-200 pounds.  Her head and face is awfully fine featured and missing the big axe split like boars usually have down the middle of their skull.  If you have a picture of her going the other direction you should be able to see the wick to verify it's a sow.

Should have cubs with if a sow

Not necessarily.  There are dry sows and fertile bears only have cubs every other year.  If she had yearlings with her this year they can be pretty adventurous and be off on their own for awhile.  She'd be kicking them out anyways so she can breed here in a couple of months.  Everything about that head says sow.

I see you added another angle.  It almost looks like you can see the wick, but the picture is really dark.  I would venture to say that little light spot at the bottom of her butt is the wick.  Boars are usually stronger in the front shoulders and smaller on the back end (like a bull).  Sows are fine in the shoulders and big in the butt, which it  looks like in the pictures.  If you happen to get a daytime picture, you'll know for sure.

What state?  I wish we'd get some warmer weather here in northern Michigan to bring them out so we could put a run on a couple with the hounds.  Unfortunately we're still buried under a foot of snow.
