I love this gun for turkey type hunting. Light and compact with out loosing barrel length.

I have one deer kill with this Encore frame  and would like to add a turkey kill by adding the 12ga barrel.

6.5lb and 39.5" overall 3" chamber and 24" barrel

15 yards on the left and 30 yards on the right

I would like to add one of those to my Encore collection also.

I rekon the recoil is a bit brisk.  :)

Recoil is sharp for sure!
Pushing against forearm forward helps alot but in hunting scenario it won't matter.

I have one too and love it as well, Indian Creek choke and NITRO's. I have kilt a bunch of turkeys with mine, it sleeps in the safe for now, will break it out if I tire of the 10 gauge.......

I got the 12 gauge turkey model this winter and have it all setup. IC choke and FF3. I'm using 3 inch hevi-13 #7s and putting 200+ in the 10 at 40 yards.

The recoil is not nearly as bad as I thought. I put 30 rounds through my first time at the range and was just a little site the next day. I won't even notice one shot at a bird. The lightweight advantage outweights the recoil for me by a lot.

Here's a pic of the gun and a 30 yard pattern.

Nice i want to get a 20 gauge barrel for mine after this season.

Mine is set up just like redsquirrels gun. It is handy and a hard hitter.

What choke are you using? I see it's a IC but what one is it, a 650, 655, 665?

The black diamond strike in Winchester is .660.
