Just wondering if y'all think there is big difference between one and two piece strikers as far as quality, sound, balance, etc. Also, what type of tip do you prefer on the various pot call surfaces?

both have their place and time, I have some one piece that are so pretty u hate to take em to the woods, that said I use a purple heart with hollow plastic top and a carbon fiber with maple top  that I like. have to let the pot call tell ya what they like

Same preference here.    As for balance, I find if they feel top heavy I don't like them.

For the most part, I like a one piece with a flat/beveled tip.  Although I have an HS Crosscut striker that I absolutely love.  It rocks on my Cody Envy!

Genesis 27:3 - Now then, get your weapons—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

I have that same HS crosscut striker, always got it with me.Seems to play well on just about everything ive got.I dont really have a preference as long as they sound good on something.Kinda odd how one can play pure music on one surface and sound like nails on a chalkboard on another!

I pretty much use one piece strikers just because, but I have an old HS Strut rosewood two piece that is the bomb.  Prety much if it work it works and if it don't, then...

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Both have their place and time, I have some of each. It up to the call which I use on it. Either will work on the right call.
