Win SX3 with Fed 7s and PG Tempest... Great!

Patterned my wifes sx3 today.  I thought it did great. Her gun is the NWTF model with a 24 barrel. I got her a .570 PG Tempest made for the flight control wads in .570.  I shot it at a taped 40 yards and got 145, 150, and 142 in a 10" circle.  I was tickled to death with how it did.  I would think those are pretty good numbers with the invector plus tubes in the 20ga. Very nice and even pattern.  I think shes ready...

Sportsman. Those counts seem low for 30 yards. Even with a 570 you ought to be over 200 in ten. Most every choke I have puts between 220 to 250 in ten at 30 with the fed 7s, including the tempest 570. If you meant 40 yards, that's good numbers with that choke.

If your happy with a more open forgiving pattern, that should be a great pattern. She will enjoy killing with that gun. Congrats and good luck.

Now that's a winner for sure. I can't get that performance out of my PG. that 140 to 150 is a noggin smasher. Congrats.
