I like em both, who doesn't like a big fat Sagdaddy beard or spurs that could be used as lethal weapons.

If I couldn't have both and had to choose one or the other, I'd go with the long (1.5 inch or better) hooked spurs.

Spurs no Doubt! I'll take a 4" beard on sharp 1.25+" spurs over a 12" beard on some dinky year and half old spurs any day of the season.

Love a big paint brush beard swinging when one is coming in...Kind of gets the heart pumping that much more before the shot.

Once he's on the ground, I guess I'm more excited if I get up to him and he's got some hooks on him though....
