Quote from: ILIKEHEVI-13 on February 03, 2013, 09:09:43 AMThat's right. Colonial Arms was the company that made the original Star Dot chokes for Highlander Sports that shot so dang well with lead or Hevi-13 loads in the Moss 835. I know this for a fact. I spoke to the owner on the phone about this some time ago. She told me so herself after I persuaded her to tell me the truth from me putting 2 and 2 together from a little investigating. http://www.colonialarms.com/You want the extra full choke 12-MOTPX from here http://www.colonialarms.com/ct07.html$54.95 plus shipping. These chokes should still have the same geometry as the original Star Dot chokes from what the owner told me when I spoke to her on the phone some time ago. The only thing I believe to of changed was the porting and no knurling at the tip end of choke.Just passing on info as I know it. The legend of the Star Dot choke for the 835 lives. You guys know how well they shoot. Brad

Porting change could make a difference as it could change how well the edge of the porting grabs the wad. it's a good looking choke, nice and long so it should have a long parallel section to stabilize the shot collumn.
