Well, I was super picky this year with my buck tags and ended up eating them. I got plenty freezer meat from a couple does at least. None of the bucks I saw during my limited time afield this season gave me the itchy trigger finger. I can't complain for the reasons that kept me home. Family is more important to me than my hobbies and maybe this coming spring will be my reward.

Got a new claw sling from the wife to make hauling the old 870 around a little easier during the long hot days in western Oklahoma.
