I need some ideas on cool groomsman gifts. I was thinking about getting them canvas and leather gun cases monogrammed. I'd like to keep it around $200 or less. Give me some ideas

My son is getting married on Sept 2nd 2012. He is getting his groomsmen custom made duck calls. I have also seen some custom made box calls, if they all turkey hunt. There is a list box calls in the turkey c all section that might meet your need. Good luck,

I'm getting married September 8th and I got my guys a custome grill set with tongs, fork, etc.. And a nice case. I've been in a ton of weddings and I always got either a pocket knife or flask so I wanted to do something a little different. I paid like $175 total.

10 years ago I bought mine a Browning backpack/soft cooler combo. Afterwards I wish I had bought myself one. I'm sure anything hunting related I they hunt would be good. Congrats on getting married by the way and hope you didn't plan a March, April, or May wedding (I marked those as off limits when we were planning).

My wife and I just did a little bitty wedding so I did not have to do the groomsman gift thing. When I was in my brothers wedding, I didn't get diddly squat. Guess I need to bring that up to him and tell him he owes me still.
A couple years ago, I built 3 calls for groomsman gifts. I think it was 2 box calls and one pot call. They are all big into turkey hunting so it worked out great for them. You can always do some glass pot calls and put a picture of you and your bride to be under the glass for a commemorative call but more than likely they probably wont hunt with them. Still, cant go wrong with custom calls if they are hunters. They will cherish them for a long time.
If you don't want to do that, most guys like powerful flashlights and electronic gadgets like 2-way radios. You might not be able to get them personalized or engraved but it would be something useful. I'd go with something that they will be able to use instead of something they find in the sock drawer every year or so when they are looking for the Easter socks.

It's not hunting related, but me and my brother are both Jeff Gordon fans. So he got me a piece of race used tire from the Texas race that he won that year. It's inside a plexi glass case with a card and stuff, looks real cool.

A nice, monogrammed gun case is a great gift idea.
Knives, money clips and flasks also seem to be popular.
I like your original thought. Not cheap by any means, but something a sportsman can use and appreciate for many years.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!
