Here is my collection of old schools.I bought the 870 new in 94 becouse I tired of going out with my bow and not killing a
turkey.You
know I never even used that gun until the fall of
2001.Now
that I have a few kills with a bow I enjoy fall hunting with a
gun.It
is a BIG change of pace for
me.No
camera, tri-pod, bow, blind, chair, or decoys ect. to pack. The 1187 I bought a few years ago and enjoy it the most.
When I turkey hunt I use a DSD decoy

Looking good! I like that 11-87
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

It's a good gun.I think guys trade em in because they need 3.5 in. shells. They both shoot great.

I just bought a matching 11-87 and I have the Bottomland version like yours in 1187. Both of yours look to be in much better shape (the paint) then mine.
Both are turkey slayers and I hope you have looked at some red, white and blue heads down that barrel!
Fine guns!
