These are have about the same penetration.

Hevi-shot in 7's and 6's. Duplexed in my 12 and straight 7's in the 20.

Anything in the 6-7.5 range for hevi and lead.  I've never messed with the denser stuff.

Well I prefer the 3 inch shells starting with Mag Blend then the #7 or # 6 HM turkey loads. All perform well with my gun/choke setup out to forty yards.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
