I like Win Supreme HV #6.
Deer see you and think you are a stump. The Old Gobbler sees a stump and thinks it is YOU!

I shoot a variety of shotshells but in the turkey woods I find that I just prefer the 3" Hevi-13 shells with #6 shot. I shoot so many of those shells, I just know  what they will do.

Thanks,

I'm shooting the Hevi 7's this year, shot the 6's last year with great results. Before that  I used copper plated lead 5's and 6's and it killed them just as dead.

Sand Man

TSS 9's in handloads here as well.

This year I am going to use Hevi Mag Blends - my 870 with a Carlson choke throws a great pattern with them.  Next week I hope to try them on a tom.

I have shot them with everything from Lead 2's to Hevi 7's. My favorite loads are by far:

1) Hevi 4x5x7 Nitro's
2) Hevi 6's
3) Lead 5's

The lead 5's have killed the most of my turkeys, but I really like the Nitro blends out of the right gun.

As if now:

12ga Hevi 7s

I'm a big fan of the hevishot triplex loads (Nitro's and Mag Blends).

Lead 4 most of the time.
Hevi 6 on occasion.

Hevi 7s, used to use Win HV 5s or 6s.  I like the Mag Blends, too.  All in 3 1/2".
