My first Florida turkey bird...

Got my first Osceola over the weekend on a central Florida WMA  (Don't really know where, I just see that posted a lot).  Fridays hunt was a little slow with the birds all gobbling where we didn't expect them to be and no way to get to them once it got daylight.  We sat it out and tried to move on them when they got on our side, but a truck drove down the road and ran them over to the next county.  Saturday was a  little better.  Set up where we thought they would be and didn't have to move at all.  Worked him a little with a ceramic call and then switched to the Executioner 2 and it was more than he could handle.  Shot him at 13 steps still coming in/across in front of us to the DSD's.

Yeah. You should have seen the funny looks we got when we layed a bird out in the grass next to the resort parking lot for pictures. Only got one, "Is it dead"?
