I looked into them but to rich for my blood. I sent both of my guns to Sumtoy and he built chokes for them shooting Hevi 3.5" 2.25oz #7. The Baikal is shooting 277 in a 10" @ 40 yrds. The Benelli shoots around 290 in a 10" @ 40 yrds.  They were both shot on a cool morning. I want to shot them on a warm morning and see what they do.

In my gun, warmer temps improve patterns. I'd think that most guns would. Good luck.

I have had him work on a couple of mine as well. Would send him more if I needed something done.

I was thinking of sending my 870 super mag to rhino and get barrel porting done.. Has anyone on here knows if this is worth it and how much will it help patterns?

He's getting my 20 ga as soon as I get it back from being dipped...

Just got my SBEII back from Rob Roberts/Gobbler Guns.....there is a somewhat detailed summary currently on the boards. As far as porting....Rob was very forthright and even has it on his website...this procedure NEITHER....Helps or Hurts Pattern Performance....it merely reduces muzzle jump allowing greater control for a follow up shot. I also understand it makes the weapon somewhat louder. I had mine done, as I hope to use it some on Waterfowl as well. Nutshell.......his work is flawless/fast/ and customer service is top notch.

PS: They use a high tech lazer type device to create the ports as opposed to drilling....the results are extremely uniform and precise. Hope this helps.
