First of all let me say I love this call.  The more I practice with this thing the better it sounds! I can't wait to get it into the woods!  I was wondering though if anyone has had trouble with their call cracking and splitting.  I have been practicing with mine for about 6 weeks now and I noticed today it is developing hairline cracks and splits running with the grain on the inlet side.  It has not affected the sound of the call at all. I'm wondering if the condensation from blowing the call might be affecting the wood in some way. I realize wood is going to crack and split and that's all there is to it but I thought if there was oil or something I should be putting on this to preserve it better?

This thing is great! It took a lot of practice to figure it out but it was definitely worth it.
And as an added bonus it is driving my wife NUTS!!!!! :goofball:

Thanks for the help
