Sorry about the crappy pics, but the camera on my phone got screwed up after I dropped it in a ditch this morning. Here goes, I got all set up about 20 min before first light in an area I had seen some birds during deer season. Hit the owl call a few times and had nothing answer. Cows started bellering shortly after and ended up hearing 3 different gobblers in the next head over (about 400 yds away). Right at first light I heard this guy fire off no less than 100 yards in the swamp. I gave him a few purrs and he ended up flying down about 15 min later and strutted about 50 yards into my decoys. I killed him at about 15 paces and I was back at the house by 730. It was by far the quickest hunt Ive had yet. 8 7/8" beard, 3/4" spurs.

Jakes are like scotch. They are not worth a darn until they age.
