I think that is a blade of grass sticking up on the middle one. Sure hope you don't live in the City limits.

I don't live in the city limits, but these birds are probably safe from me anyway. I should be able to get my limit on leases pretty easy, so I'll save these for a youth or just sitting on the porch and drinking coffee while enjoying the show.
