How many of you use/wear binoculars to turkey hunt? I would be lost without my binos. I am looking for a smaller pair instead of my good big game binos.

Vortex 8 or 10 x 42 measure up very well against Nikon Monarchs for less money.

Joe, I carry binocs most of the time, depending somewhat on where I'm hunting. They can be invaluable in open terrain. My current pair are moderately priced 10X42 Leupould's. I've tried mini's, but just never found anything reasonably priced that you can see worth a flip with in the woods. If I lived out West, and used binoculars to hunt big game a lot, I'd probably be willing to spend big money, but looking for a turkey beard at a couple of hundred yards, mine work fine.

Joe

I never leave home without them !  Leupold Pinnacles 10x42 for me. Not too heavy or bulky either.

Leupold 10x42.  Wanting an 8x36 because the 10x are a bit big.

TURKEYWHACKER

I always have a pair of 8x26 hooked up to a Bino Buddy strap.
