If you could hunt only one weekend of the season?

What one would you choose?  Opener so you are hunting unpressured birds or later in the season when the toms aren't henned up as bad?

First of all, that would SUCK!

But if I had to choose, Id pick the second weekend of April in west Alabama.

The first couple of weeks are usually pretty good but if I had to choose it would be the first week of may.  Killed most of the longer spurred turkeys during that time.

Opener for me. I called in 8 birds for one of the kids last year in two days of hunting before he killed one.

If i had to choose it would probably be the last week in May, their in their second gobbling peak and it can be pretty steller!
