Over 20 years of turkey hunting, I've killed 1, 8.5" and 2.5", But I called one up for a friend that was visiting me that I'd hunted all season that had a 10.5" and a 10" beards and to ad insult to injury 1.5 inch spurs.

Ive only killed one double beard a yr or two ago.  My 12 yr old has killed  one with 3 and one with 2 out of 7 or 8 birds he has killed

TANK

Only one about 5 seasons ago.

I've shot two and guided one.

If you can find an area with that genetic you should do all you can to ensure continued access.

I have been lucky enough to harvest 1 double-beard.  The beards were 11 inches and 7 inches.  He was one of the best birds I have harvested having 1 5/8 inch spurs also.

I've killed several double bearded gobblers, all from Georgia. I had a 4 year streak going of killing at least one with a double beard down there.
