 Did some shooting today with my new Rem. 1187. Tried 4 Different chokes & here is the best one shot with a Tru Glo tube.  33 yards Lazered.  Still might try some Fed. HW in it.  :newmascot:

Thunderchicken told me what size it was but all it has written on it is:

    TRUGLO
    TG177X
     101507A

I just bought this 1187 & this choke was with the gun .

 Im lost when it comes to 20 ga guns. This is the first one I have ever owned. Thanks to Thunderchicken the choke is a GSX Gobbler Stopper Extreme .565 !

I have one of those .565 Truglo chokes for my 870 youth and they are some very good chokes

I'm just curious is there a reason why alot of you guys pattern at an odd yardage like 33yds?  It seems like I see that alot.

My intentions was to shoot @ 30 yds but when I ranged it ,it was 33 yds. So I just went ahead & shot that distance.  :newmascot:

what is barrel length on your gun. i use a 11-87 compact which is youth model with 21" barrel.

looks pretty good,have ya tried a truglo ssx 550?i was averageing 175 in 10 at 40 with fed 7's,with a very even 20.
