What have you observed and think about the relationship between crows and turkeys?

Turkey don't like crows because they drive them nuts and crows love to herass turkeys.

Crows will destroy a turkey nest if they find it.

Muskie03 Taught Me A Lesson In 2011

If it eats I can catch it, if it bleeds I can kill it.

I had this posted on another thread but how come I have heard crows kawing all the time with no answer ever of a turkey. It took me buying 2 crow calls to realize I may never use it cause the real birds don't even get a responce.

They won't respond to them even when they're roosted?

In Iowa seldom. Almost every single time they open up to a Owl on Roost.

Crow calls work magic here in OK, but I use it between dawn and dusk.  Those times are reserve for owl hoots or coyote howls.

I have noticed alot where i hunt that if there are a bunch of crows flying around and going ape sh!t in the spring then turkeys are somewhere around, good locator for the hunter.

:agreed: I have used crows before to locate turkey.  Not every time there is a bunch of crows giving it heck  there's turkeys under them but many times it has put me on them.  If this don't work you can do what others have said and put a little smack down on them!
