I have a nice 20 gauge Wingmaster that I have had for years. It has been shot very little and looks nice. My decision is that since my 9yo has taken my remington express I need a turkey gun. I have to decide to sell the wingmaster and buy a new shotgun or start using the wingmaster.

I think if you have a gun then it should be used and it will get scratches and dings. This gun was a friends that bought it and didn't use it, sold it to me for a great price.

If I decide to use it what choke? It has a 26 inch barrel.

I guess it would depend on how great the guns looks already. Wingmasters are typically good looking guns and I personally do not like to get a good looking gun scratched up. All of my hunting guns are synthetic stocks, etc.. so i don't have to worry about getting it beat up. Guns like those are typically not built for jumping in brush tops but used in open fields bird hunting or trap shooting. I would definitly get the job done but remember, it will take a beating in the woods.

Best of luck :fud:
