close call with a rattler today!!

rode my bike back a gated forest road to check my trail camera today.got to  the food plot, stashed my bike the high weeds.
hiked by in only 1/4 mile off the plot to change sd cards.on the way out went to grab my bike,when i reached down for the
bike i heard the rattle and saw the rattlesnake going thourgh the grass not afoot away.i think i could of beat carl lewis as fast
as i high stepped it across that food plot with my bike in hand.man,it still makes the hair on back of my neck stand up.

sure was lucky,was`nt really dressed for the occasion just shorts and sneakers.i know those critters were put on this earth
for a reason just don`t know what.i usually don`t kill everyone i see,just go around them but i`m not a snake person.I
think i`m going to find a new place to stash my bike.

I had a close call with one this Monday at work.   I was walking around checking erosion controls and walked up on one.  Luckily it let me know it was there before i got too close.  Glad you made it out ok.
