Roughly 12 hours from opening morning in north Florida. Crazy this is the 1st season I didnt do any morning listening. Super busy at work, so hunting our private ground in morning instead of state land. Kinda doesn't seem right not starting on public ground. Nice to sleep in a couple extra hours though. Cameras have done my scouting this season. Seems like 5 good gobblers as of a week ago. This week 1 Jake every afternoon with 2 hens. Just finished getting my vest straightened out. Start the season with a Gooserbat aluminum, ole yeller, and woodhaven purr pot, 1 redhead box call, 3 gooserbat mouth calls. Most important 2 thermacells. Kinda like the night before Christmas.
