Hello all, this forum gave me the trumpet/wingbone bug about 6 or 7 years ago, and I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy learning to play them and use them in the woods. I'm really thankful for this forum to have kindled a new passion, and in that passion I've found respect for callmakers and the craft of callmaking.

After attending Unicoi for the first time this year, I finally told myself I was going to use the wings I have been saving to make some calls. So for the last couple months, I've been working on these, spending an immense amount of time playing with different variations trying to tune to the best of my limited ability. It was definitely a learning experience and a one step forward, two steps back ordeal, but I enjoyed the entire process, bumps and all, and am happy how these turned out. Thanks to everyone in this forum with similar passions and sharing your experience!

Great work. It's a heck of a bug to be bitten by. Enjoy it, I'm loving it myself. 😎
