I'm in the market for a Jordan style trumpet. Who would be a recommended call maker that will take my order? I know EZ builds a fine Jordan but I have not had any luck getting him to take my order since contacting him back in 2022. EZ is my preference but it's time to look at some other call makers that are taking orders.

permar improved jordan is tough to beat for cost and playability. it was my first in the yelper style calls, and I still carry it in a striker pocket in my vest with a trumpet around my neck on every trip to the woods.

Yeah a good friend of mine got an EZ and is very pleased with it. I have had the bug for awhile now to get one so I'm going to pull the trigger if I can find someone to make me a call.

 EZ keeps a full list, the yelper craze has found him. Does it have to be a wing bone? Mike Lapp is a good one, he has a website.

Not sure if he's taking orders right now, but David Hodgkins (Blackfalcon) makes an incredible Jordan style yelper.

2 of the best right here.

I have an all cane Jordan type from both Mark Sharp and"Guesswho" on here that are both great sounding and easy playing yelpers. The Sharp yelper does have a brass insert fitted into the cane mouthpiece, which is a fine piece of craftsmanship by itself.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I bought a 2nd hand Permar improved to try but still looking to get my hands on a EZ. I have reached out to EZ since he replied to my post.

EZ and Ralph are two awesome call builders... Their craftsmanship and dedication to how they sound are awesome.. 

Others mentioned make a good caller..
