I have two 410's at the present time, a Tristar viper and a Rossi Tuffy Turkey. The Rossi was easy to get to shoot nice hunting patterns. I'm shooting Apex Ninja's 9.5 tss with an Indian creek .385. My Tristar Viper was alittle harder to get it to shoot the way I wanted it to. I shot numerous chokes and loads through it, killed turkeys with several of those combo's but today I found the pattern I was looking for. That was Rogue 9.5 tss with an Indian creek .390 choke. I also had a Mossberg SA 410 with 26" barrel that shot well with a Primos .390 choke an Apex Ninja's, killed several birds with it also. It seems in the guns I've owned 390 seems to be a good constriction and the 9.5 tss seems to give good patterns. Most birds I've taken have been between 25 to 35 yards and never flopped after the shot.
