I am old school when it comes to optics. I know absolutely nothing about Red-dot or Hologram type scopes/sights. Are these battery type optics made to be mounted on a picatinny rail?

Thanks!

I cant say for sure all are but most are

OK, Thanks for the reply. The reason that I ask is, I'm going to have my receiver drilled/tapped for a pic rail, then I'm putting on a 1.5-4.5x Nikon Monarch. If the Nikon ever pukes out, then I'll possibly decide on a Red-Dot or Holo which can mount to the pic rail.

I recommend going with a red dot mount such as a Sumtoy if you go red dot. Its just a more solid connection and keeps the red dot lower on the gun

Mine is mounted on a picatinny with no issues.

I have them mounted on picatinny mounts and I have had no trouble with either scopes or red dots.

Nothing wrong with a pic rail other then most set high up in the air.   They good

Our mount is better and will look better if going with red dot but not scope.
