So this morning was in the 40s and I was a little chilly.  Are there some jackets available for those cooler mornings?

I typically wear a Realtree Carhartt jacket on those days and shed when it's warmer. May be a little bulkier than what you're looking for, but it's something I already had and comes in tall sizes, which is necessary for me. Im usually still able to get my full range of shooting in with it on.

I've been wearing an Eddie Bauer down vest underneath my leafy jacket and then just stuff it in my vest when I warm up. You can wear any kind of puffy and it will keep you warm and then pack down to nothing.

Have an old down vest that folds so compact it will go in a game pouch.  Better than nothing.

If it's in the 40's and gonna warm up, I just throw on my browning hoodie. When it warms up, I take it off and it goes right in the vest game pouch.

If it's gonna be in the 40's all day. I have my jacket I use during deer season.

I will throw out another option, a vest. They pack a little easier, in my opinion. Also, you can find plenty of camo fleece or wool jackets online. Drake is one company that comes to mind.

For the 40's I have a NatGear windproof uninsulated jacket. Another layer added if needed.

Early season in MS, the mornings are usually pretty chilly. I add the First lite wool sweater to my normal turkey clothes. Keeps me warm and packs away nicely. It's also very quiet.

I have a Sitka Traverse with hood that my wife bought me for Christmas a couple years ago. It is a great jacket. Would not buy one at full price but she got it on sale and I have been very pleased with  it. Works great here is SC for most of deer season as well and I wore it duck hunting a good bit. It is soft, quiet, and warm. Does not stop wind but can layer for that. I have been well pleased. I also have one of the older Columbia Fleece camo jackets that I love.

I grabbed a thin fleece DU jacket, those they offer from time to time when you subscribe.  It seems to fit the bill.  I wear a leafy jacket over it.

Hmmm.

Nope, never heard of those.

Fleece 1/4 zip pullover and or fleece vest. Love those clear, chilly mornings.
