Not sure which one to get
Lightweight or Durashell version
Not sure the difference between the two
Which one should I get?

I have the Camouflage Leafy Jacket - 1/2 Zip - With Hood - Lightweight.  It is mesh with the leafy camo over it.  I can wear it over a jacket if it is cold or a T shirt if it is hot.  It has the pouch and pockets.  I always put my gloves and mask in the pouch at the end of the hunt so I don't accidentally forget them.  I love the hood.  You can get a little more head movement under the hood without easily being seen.  JMO.

Go lightweight, as mentioned goes over any underlayer. Pouch helped me get away from big and bulky vests too. If I can't carry it in the kangaroo zip pouch, or cargo pockets on my pants, do I need it.

Just me, but I find the hood to restrict my peripheral vision. I keep a small hair band wrapped around the base of the hood, that helps pull it back away from my face. Ended up getting a 2nd 1/4 zip in original bottomland and opted for no hood.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409

Sit down wrong, and you're beat. Jim Spencer                          Don't go this year where Youtubers went last year.

I prefer the ones without the hood.  They tend to get in my way and honestly, if it's not being worn it's just a basket to catch twigs, bugs ect.

I have the older 1/4 zip with Kangaroo pocket with the hood. The fabric the leaves are on is grey with venting, heavier than the mesh. I love it. Bought a new hood-less one, sent it right back. The leaves were not colored on both sides, the mesh was real thin, I think it won't hold up when sitting against a big oak tree. The older one is made so much better, the leaves are colored much nicer, and the fabric holding the leaves is tougher than the thin mesh. Just my experience here, I hope they are not skimping on the quality moving forward, I love the older one I'm using. I hope it continues to last. This is what I noticed when I compared the old vs new. Good luck

Mine is mesh body except sleeves so I'm guessing that's the lightweight version. I prefer no hood to catch ticks & sticks. Super happy with it. Just be careful not to slam zipper all the way open like I did last week. Found a small safety pin I'm going to insert tomorrow for a zipper stop so I don't unzip it too far ( I've read others have done same on this forum).
Would not hesitate to recommend this to a friend. Awesome jacket!

You can cure the zipper stop with an arrow nock. Crimp it on zipper before track ends, works perfectly.
