Well, that leaves any gobbler killed in this part of the country out. Thinking about it, I have probably scored at least 300-400 gobblers from these parts over the years...ain't none of them ever scored 70 points.

That's actually a factor in this contest. The guys out west are screwed as far as high scoring birds. While guys killing easterns are pooping in high cotton. If your team is made up of all eastern guys you have an advantage. Some areas in particular have bigger birds. So it's not a skill thing as much as a location thing. I personally have several birds in the 70s and I've probably shot around 200. While people, like Gobblenut says, have shot twice that and never seen any in the 70s. THat doesn't mean this isn't still a lot of fun.
