Well men, (I would say gentlemen if appropriate) here is where i have to go dark. Between work, teaching college, and the everyday things that I have to do in preparation for the season, I fear I will not have time to insult everyone properly. Thanks for the fun and the laughs. I hope everyone has their best season ever. If y'all are lucky, I might start a hunt thread, filled with selfies and updates, flaunting my good looks and mesmerizing personality. There might be a turkey from time to time, but I keep most of that stuff to myself. I would rather brag about my amazing attributes as an adult male than the killing side. Good luck, thanks, and see y'all on the other side of the season.

Lacire almost didn't wake up and he's been pretty busy, not that he wasn't thinking of You'all and how this contest was going... he had back to back heart attacks after being admitted to one hospital and then took a nice helicopter ride to another hospital where he had emergency surgery... and when he made it home he had family members coming over to see how far gone he was... most wanted to know where they were placed in his will... (who gets what gun)... but now other than carrying the nitro in his pocket he's better. Though against his wife's better judgement (he had permission from the doctors) he went out and shot a nice bird with his son and grandson, in about 10 minutes they actually tripled from the same blind.

Had no idea! Well that's certainly no joking matter.  It's great to see you up and doing what you love with those you love. Wow, you seem to be doing great after that kind of trauma. You must be one tough sob! Took me months to get over a small stroke couple years ago. Well, I wish you the best with your further recovery. Thanks for the thoughts Jeff, there's really nothing to say, I've had so many hunts with my son and grandsons that they'll have a lot of good memories to look back on. I know what the future holds for me and where I'm going... But... God knew that you, the Goats and the longbeards would be missing me terribly saying, "where did that smart memeing lacire run off too". So He just threw me back for a little while longer.
