Pot calls instructions.

Is there some basic instructions on how to build pot calls? I tried searching the forum and didn't come up with any results. Not looking for super specifics- and I don't really want to tear any of mine apart to see how they are made I have all the equipment to turn some out, thought it would be fun to try to make a few. I appreciate any help.

You can probably get some tips by watching some U-Tube videos.  I don't vouch for any of them, but I think they might get you started, but that is a start.

Post your location.  If one of the call makers on the site is near you, they might offer to give you a few tips.  Just a thought.

look up THO game calls forum...........there is a boatload of information on there, box calls, pot calls and strikers

Thanks for the advice, I've watched a few videos and think I have enough information to start tinkering. Anyone ever 3d print a pot call?

Is there a good source to get slate from? I assumed I could find something that I could sand to thickness and cut to fit the call. It's proving difficult to find locally, and online orders look to be in some bulk quantities. Thanks
